Please note we are not doing sessions in person at the moment, due to the coronavirus situation. Our sessions are now delivered online via Zoom, so come and join us!

1:1 in person

We offer hour-long 1:1 support sessions which take place at our base on Gelliwastad Road.  These are tailored to each parent’s specific needs and problems, delivered by a member of the CBS team and last as long as the support is needed from a one-off session or over a period of months. These sessions provide parents with empathy, knowledge, understanding and skills in a safe space along with advice and guidance.

We have extensive experience of the practical and emotional challenges of educational issues for parents of children with additional needs. We can help broker a more positive outcome with schools, support agencies and help parents to develop coping strategies and build emotional resilience.

1:1 by Zoom and Skype

Parents often find it difficult to access 1:1 support in person, due to the demands of childcare and logistical family problems. If access is a barrier for you, we can arrange a Zoom or Skype Support session, thanks to support from a National Lottery Wales – Awards for All grant.
