This 6-week programme, aimed at parents who have children with behaviour that challenges and have no diagnosis.
Week 1: Introductions and Behaviour that challenges – To complete pre-group questionnaires, give you an overview of the programme, and an opportunity for you to share your stories with other parents in a similar situation. To give you relevant and understandable information about what behaviour that challenges is, and ways to deal with it.
Week 2: Communication & Self-esteem – To demonstrate the importance of good communication, both talking and listening, to show the importance of feelings and impact on behaviour, and to show the importance and impact of praise.
Week 3: School Pathways– To give you relevant and understandable information about the education system and prepare you for your journey.
Week 4: Health Pathways and Self-car – To give you relevant and understandable information about the health system and prepare you for your journey. To demonstrate the importance of parental self-care.
Week 5: Dealing with specific behaviours
Week 6: Information Session and Celebration – To provide you with information and details on other services and what they can do to help you and your family. To evaluate the programme and celebrate our successes.
Please note we are not doing sessions in person at the moment, due to the coronavirus situation. Our training programmes are now delivered online via Zoom, so come and join us!

Application Form: Early intervention behaviour programme
The programme is intended to provide adults and children with the understanding, skills and ability to lead emotionally healthy lives, build resilience, empathy, self-esteem and support positive relationships and to inspire positive changes.
The 10-week Nurturing Programme is effective in universal settings and is also used by practitioners to deliver targeted support as part of specialist interventions such as: working with parents in prison, and parents whose children have special needs
Lego Based Therapy is a Social development programme for children with ASD and related conditions such as ADHD. It is now used in school settings and is often recommended by professionals as an intervention for children with social communication needs.
We have a 2 week programme to train parents to be able to use Lego Based Therapy at home with their children.
