Early intervention behaviour programme
A programme for parent carers of children with behaviours that challenge, for those on the pathway to diagnosis.
Sessions empower participants with an understanding of where the behaviours that challenge come from.
Giving strategies to support such behaviours, as well as an insight into the pathway to diagnosis and details on school support.
We offer a 6-week programme and sessions will last approximately 2 hours.
Early Intervention Behaviour, the following topics are covered:
- Introduction to behaviour that challenges
- Communication
- Self-esteem
- School pathways
- Health pathways
- Self-care
- Dealing with specific behaviours
All programme sessions will be delivered by fully trained facilitators.
